Marinda Davis is a Florida-born choreographer, educator, and the Artistic Director of her company, marInspired: the storytellers, founded in 2009. A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in Dance, she danced professionally with Sting and 98 Degrees before building an extensive choreography career that includes work for Comedy Central’s Tosh.0, NBC’s World of Dance, and the Season 25 finale of Dancing with the Stars starring Julianne Hough. In 2020, she choreographed Disney+’s Clouds, and in 2019 she was commissioned to create Flickers for Giordano Dance Chicago, which the Chicago Tribune named “Best in Chicago Dance.” Marinda’s personal story was also the subject of the Emmy-honored docuseries My Last Days, and she’s appeared as a guest judge on E!’s Dance Pop Revolution. A longtime fixture of the convention and studio circuit, she is on faculty at institutions including Broadway Dance Center, EDGE, Peridance, and Pace University, and continues to mentor dancers worldwide through her company and her own dance intensive, The Storytellers.
