media

The weekend will undoubtedly be FULL of incredible moments worth capturing! Participants and observers are welcome to take photos and videos, however we respectfully request *NO VIDEO FOOTAGE CAPTURED OF ANY CLASS CONTENT.* All work presented by our master teachers is their exclusive proprietary and intellectual property. This includes but is not limited to videoing any aspects of their classes, videoing the master teachers performing, or videoing the combos performed by participants. The In10sive will have a dedicated media team procuring content which we’ll post for you to share!

CLASS LEVELS

The In10sive does not enforce an objective registration distinction for participants. We will offer both an Advanced and Intermediate level and invite registration for the level in which your dancer(s) are best suited. As a general guideline, the Intermediate Level trends ages 11 & under while the Advanced Level trends ages 12 & over. And if a dancers’ experience would be enhanced by switching levels at the event itself, they are welcome to do so!

what to wear

Come dressed to move. Come dressed for confidence. Come dressed to express your individuality. Layers are always a good idea, ideally a base layer meant to accentuate body lines as well as pieces that transition well between styles and provide comfort as the days progress. It’s a good idea to bring all dance footwear. Also… Yeti’s, Stanley’s, Owala’s and the like are highly encouraged to maintain proper hydration.

OBSERVERS

The In10sive will allocate observer bands available for purchase in advance or on-site. Advance purchases may be made directly through your studio administrator. In addition we will provide 1 complimentary observer band per 10 fully registered participants to each studio. Our observer band pricing is as follows:

On-Site Purchase
1 day / $35 per person
2 day / $50 per person

The In10sive defines an “observer” as anyone (regardless of age or duration of event attendance) in a classroom who is not a fully-registered participant.

Observer étiquette is an important conversation to ensure the optimal experience for all participants. As we mentioned before, we do not permit videography of any aspect of the classes. This is enforced to protect and preserve the best interest of the minors in attendance as well as the exclusive intellectual property of our master teachers. In an effort to minimize distractions, entering and exiting the classrooms during the classes is highly discouraged. Repeat offenders may be asked to remain outside the classrooms.

In an effort to provide dancers a focused as well as uninhibited fully immersive experience, “side coaching” from observers is highly discouraged. The only expectation of observers is to perform exactly that which the title implies – observe.

dancer numbers

Each dancer will be provided a total of 4 stickers bearing a pre-assigned participant number. These must be worn and visible throughout the event, by which they will be identified by our staff & master teachers. Beyond the 4 stickers we provide, no additional stickers will be allocated. ProTip… to maintain adherence and minimize the likelihood of losing tackiness, once a sticker is placed on a garment – on that garment…in that exact position on said garment…the sticker should remain. It is recommended dancers wear a sticker on their base layer and any other layer they intend to wear intermittently throughout a given day.

scholarships

As with most conventions, In10sive awards scholarships to standouts – but differently.

While exceptional talent and the “It” factor are easily recognized and commonly rewarded, our faculty specifically seeks out those who embody the unique and intentional core values of In10sive. Each faculty member will award $100 In10sity 2K27 Tour scholarships to dancers who embody our cultural priorities:

FLEX – dancer(s) who exhibit adaptability & artistic range amongst all styles presented throughout the workshop.

LUX – dancer(s) who just make the movement look GOOOOOOOD; make it look expensive!

APEX – dancer(s) who fully immerse themselves in the experience; willing to take risks & step outside their comfort zone and maximize their personal potential.

FLUX – dancer(s) who bring energy to the room and every one in it; collaborative, transcends the comfort and familiarity of their tribe and recognizes the entire room as “one”.
