Born in Santiago, Chile, Manny Castro has called Miami home for more than two decades. It’s also where he met his wife and creative partner of over 20 years, Lory. Drawing on their diverse backgrounds, the pair fused jazz, ballet, and Latin ballroom into a signature style that’s well known throughout South Florida and across the country. Together, Manny and Lory own Dancetown Miami. Their choreography and dancers, including their own children D’Angelo and Ruby, have appeared on World of Dance, America’s Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, and Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance. Their work has also been seen at the Latin Grammys and the Latin Billboard Awards, and on Strictly Come Dancing, the UK original of Dancing with the Stars. Known as a passionate, energetic duo, the Castros have become a driving force in the dance community.
